A Little About The Design Process

✨ Let’s Create Together ✨

Hey - I’m really glad you’re here.

If you’re thinking about working together, I’d love to hear what you’re dreaming up and see if we’re a good fit.

Here’s how it works - simple, intentional, and no pressure:

Step One: Reach Out

Start by sending me an email with a bit about your project - ideas, goals, or even just a spark you’re trying to shape.

📧 Email: Tea.Kinsington@TeaZilla.Rocks
Subject: Let’s Create Together

Step Two: Connect

Once I’ve had a chance to review your message, I’ll follow up.

If it feels like a good fit, I’ll send you a private link to schedule a free 15-minute Zoom call.

From there, we’ll talk through your vision, your needs, and what we can build together.

No pressure.
No overwhelm.
Just a thoughtful starting point.

More About The Process!

✨ The Design Process
Simple, collaborative, and built with intention

Here’s how we bring your idea to life:

1. Reach Out

Start by sending me an email with a bit about your project - your ideas, your vibe, or even just a spark you’re trying to shape.

From there, if it feels like a good fit, I’ll send you a private link to schedule a quick intro call.

2. Let’s Connect

We’ll hop on a relaxed Zoom chat and talk through your project - who you are, what you’re building, and the feeling you want it to carry.

Think of it like a creative coffee chat…
just with color palettes, references, and ideas instead of spreadsheets.

3. I Build the Direction

Using everything we talked about, I create an initial creative direction - a starting point we can shape together.

This might include:

• visual mood + tone
• color palette
• design direction or concept

From there, I begin developing the core visuals for your project.

4. Refine & Align

You’ll review the direction and share what’s resonating.

We refine, adjust, and shape things together until it feels clear, aligned, and fully you.

No overwhelm.
No pressure.
Just a thoughtful, collaborative process.

Good work takes shape. Great work feels right.

🔍 About the Files

📁 About the Files
What you’ll receive & how to use them

We’ll go over your specific needs together, but here’s a simple overview so everything feels clear and easy to use.

JPEG & PNG

These are your everyday, ready-to-use files - perfect for websites, social media, and most print projects.

They support color, texture, and detail, making them ideal for more illustrated or styled designs.

(You’ll see examples of these on the Brand Board to the left.)

Vector Files (SVG)
[Adobe Illustrator Files]

These are your scalable, high-resolution files - perfect for anything that needs to grow or shrink without losing quality.

Think signage, apparel, stickers, packaging, or large-format prints.

Vector designs are built with paths (not pixels), so they stay crisp and clean at any size.

(Example: My “Me in Pink” illustration — smooth, scalable, and ready for anything.)

These are the files your printer will love you for.

Characters & Custom Ideas

Custom characters are a popular (and totally optional) way to bring personality into your project. I’ll often share examples  (like the lady reading a book in a vintage dress) just to spark ideas, not to overwhelm you.

For example:

If your name is Uncle Vinnie and you’re starting a fabulous BBQ food truck…

we could create a custom character of you holding a plate of meat inside your truck.

(Yes please.)

To keep things budget-friendly, we can also:

  • Create a detailed character for marketing

  • Then pull out one bold element to use as the logo

Think:

🔥 a flaming chicken

🖋️ paired with a quirky, bold font

✨ that becomes your signature mark

If you’re drawn to a vintage tattoo vibe, we can absolutely lean into that.

(I’ve included a few visual examples so you can see the direction.)

Prices

Pricing & Project Scope

Every project is different - and that’s the point.

Pricing is flexible and based on the scope, complexity, timeline, and level of customization involved. Some projects are quick and focused. Others grow into full creative worlds.

If you have a budget in mind, feel free to share it.

I’m often able to scale a project, phase things out, or find a creative approach that works for both of us.

No pressure.
No one-size-fits-all packages.
Just thoughtful, tailored work.

Most projects begin in these general ranges:

• Smaller design or illustration work — starting around $75+
• Branding, visuals, or creative direction — starting around $250+
• Web or larger, multi-layered projects — starting around $400+

Final pricing is always based on what we’re building together.

Timeline & Process

Timelines vary depending on the project, but I’ll always communicate clearly about:

• Estimated turnaround time
• Project phases
• What I need from you along the way

Good work takes a little time - but I keep things moving, collaborative, and transparent from start to finish.

What You Can Expect

Every project includes:

• Thoughtful collaboration
• Clear, honest communication
• Attention to detail
• Work that feels like you
