After years of trauma and abuse, it took time - and a whole lot of tenderness - to return to my art.
Creativity was always there.
A place to hold the pain.
A way to find my way back to joy.
And when I was finally ready…
something unexpected showed up.
TeaZilla.
Not just a name - but a part of me.
Fierce. Gentle.Protective.
Unapologetically alive.
She arrived right when I needed her most - reminding me to:
-remember my dreams
-believe in a little magic again
- and reclaim my voice
She’s instinct. She’s resilience.
She’s the part of me that stayed.
And now?
She builds worlds.
Through TeaZilla, I learned to advocate for myself, honor where I’ve been, and trust where I’m going.
Healing isn’t about erasing the past- it’s about finding your voice…
and roaring your way forward.
Now, through Studio TeaZilla, I use that voice to build - shaping worlds, telling stories, and creating work that carries meaning, connection, and a little bit of magic.

What started as one community show has become a small constellation of programs hosted by DJ Celeste, Mr. Announcer Man, and the increasingly mischievous Mickey Fingers - wandering from indie pop, new wave, surf, and alt classics into post‑punk, darkwave, dream pop, coldwave, and cinematic late‑night soundscapes. Built for lifers, insomniacs, and anyone who still makes playlists like they matter.
